Kirkland Summerfest: the city’s premiere summer festival of art, music, food and family fun on the waterfront. Kirkland’s largest festival features 3 days of visual and performing arts, over 50 performances, spectator sports, family rides, and entertainment, over 150 vendors and food trucks on the streets of downtown. Bring the family for the day then dance the night away at the beer garden stage. Kirkland at its best.
We would like to personally invite you to participate in the 2014 Kirkland Summerfest Young Artist Exhibition! The theme for this year’s exhibition is “Summertime Fun!” and entries will be judged on interpretation of the theme, as well as originality, creativity and innovative use of materials.
If you are interested in applying for the summer's wacky racers on the water, you're in the right place! The MBCBR is open to all ages and one of the most fun events of the year. We are accepting applications for the Moss Bay Cardboard Boat Regatta at Kirkland Summerfest through August 1, 2014.
Each year, over 50 performances and dozens of events are presented in a program embracing music, dance, street arts, and family entertainment. With an array of free events for every interest, beer gardens and performance stages, we invite you to join us in 2014 to see some of the best artists from around the region and from our own backyard.
You can catch a glimpse of last season's highlights by viewing our online photo gallery featuring images taken by Bob Gassen/Humanature. We also encourage you to complete the Wish List to tell us who you'd like to see perform at next year's festival.
Lastly, if you enjoy this annual tradition, we ask you to please consider making a donation to support Kirkland Summerfest. Your financial contributions help us to offer the finest arts and cultural experiences from around the region, and to support local artists by providing a platform for their creative aspirations. Please call the festival office at 425-822-7066 to donate by phone, or simply click here to inquire by email. Or click here to donate immediately!
This is your festival, and we deeply appreciate your support and patronage.
On behalf of the scores of volunteers dedicated to producing this enduring treasure, we thank you.
