Kirkland Summerfest: the city’s premiere summer festival of art, music, food and family fun on the waterfront. Kirkland’s largest festival features 3 days of visual and performing arts, over 50 performances, spectator sports, family rides, and entertainment, over 150 vendors and food trucks on the streets of downtown. Bring the family for the day then dance the night away at the beer garden stage. Kirkland at its best.
Preparing to celebrate our third season, Kirkland Summerfest has brought the best local and regional performers to enthusiastic audiences of all ages. For 3 amazing summer days, we transform Kirkland's Marina Park and downtown core into a lively arts destination, a place where friends, family, neighbors, and visitors can connect and share in a celebration of artistic inspiration, creativity, and community spirit.
Each year, over 50 performances and dozens of events are presented in a program embracing music, dance, street arts, and family entertainment. With an array of free events for every interest, beer gardens and performance stages, we invite you to join us in 2014 to see some of the best artists from around the region and from our own backyard.
You can catch a glimpse of last season's highlights by viewing our online photo gallery featuring images taken by Bob Gassen/Humanature. We also encourage you to complete the Wish List to tell us who you'd like to see perform at next year's festival.
Lastly, if you enjoy this annual tradition, we ask you to please consider making a donation to support Kirkland Summerfest. Your financial contributions help us to offer the finest arts and cultural experiences from around the region, and to support local artists by providing a platform for their creative aspirations. Please call the festival office at 425-456-1111 to donate by phone, or simply click here to inquire by email.
This is your festival, and we deeply appreciate your support and patronage.
On behalf of the scores of volunteers dedicated to producing this enduring treasure, thank you.
If you are interested in applying for next summer, the festival’s curatorial period occurs from fall through spring. We will accept artist submissions for Summerfest 2014 from September 1, 2013 – March 1, 2014.
